CALACS 40th-Anniversary Awards to Student Events
The Canadian Association of Latin American and Caribbean Studies is celebrating its 40th Annivesary in 2009. To mark the occasion, CALACS announces five awards of up to $500 for events, workshops, or conferences on Latin American or Caribbean topics with significant student participation. Activities should take place in Canada and recipients must be members of CALACS. Interested groups or individuals should send a one-paragraph description of activity and proposed use of award to calacs@uwindsor.ca. Proposals will be evaluated by the CALACS board as they come in, and are welcome through the end of 2009.
